Burn Healthcare in England and Wales is divided into four Burn Care Networks and organised using a tiered model of care where Burn Services are designated as a Centre, Unit or Facility. Those with the most severe injuries are treated in Burn Centres and those requiring less intensive treatment are looked after in Burn Units or Facilities.
