BUGS (Burns Unit Group Support) is a support group set up for patients with a burn injury treated at Salisbury District Hospital and is a small charitable fund of the hospital’s Stars Appeal Charity. It supports patients while they are on Odstock and Sarum wards and as they move out in to the community as outpatients. It still supports former patients too and crosses a large regional area, from Swindon in the north down to Southampton, Portsmouth, Weymouth and across to the Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands.
