Hey I’m Craig and not long found this website I would like to share my story as I find it helpful to talk about it.

In August 2019 I suffered serious burns through my own silly fault, 70% burns and need several surgeries, multiple transfusions, and a month in intensive care dying twice, after a 9 week stay in hospital I was ready for discharge although I still needed frequent dressing changes (not many though and only mepilex plasters), I’m now just waiting to be measured and fitted for pressure garments (23rd I get measured ?). This is a brief overview of what I have been through and if there is any questions feel free to ask I’m open and find it better for myself to talk about my accident.

Hope to hear from some of you soon.

Craig

Hi Craig, thought I’d leave a little post for you to see how you are doing?  How are you coping with your pressure garments?  I am nearly 36 years into my burn journey.  I was 50% burned in a gas explosion when I was 13.  The live chats are great and I try to get on them as often as I can.  Hope you are well.  Take care for now.  Shell.
